23-27 LeMoyne College Youth Summer Film Program At Le Moyne College's new summer film
workshop, come explore how films use images and sound to appeal to
our emotions so effectively. Those who attend will view classic
contemporary films in order to figure out how the best ones "speak"
to audiences. Then, using Le Moyne's state-of-the-art computers and
software, youth will try their hand at affecting emotions themselves
by creating their very own film trailers. This exciting week of
watching, analyzing, and editing films concludes with viewings of
the work created (popcorn included!) CROOKED ARROWS WORLD

The world premiere of Crooked Arrows will be
at May 9, 2012 at the Crouse Hinds Theater at the OnCenter in Syracuse.
ABOUT THE FILM: A mixed-blood Native
American, Joe Logan, eager to modernize his reservation, must first
prove himself to his father, the traditionalist Tribal Chairman, by
rediscovering his spirit. He is tasked with coaching the reservation’s
high school lacrosse team which competes against the better equipped and
better trained players of the elite Prep School League.
